ABOUT US
Our Story
TISWA was established in 2018 by a qualified and experienced social worker, who recognised the increasing demand for international social work assessments in family law cases, where children had family and friends in the Caribbean specifically, who were able to care for them. However, the safety considerations and the costs to local authorities, particularly, to send social workers to these locations, were alarming. The business was born to address this gap in services.
After receiving many enquiries for assessments to be completed in locations outside of the Caribbean, we developed and diversified. The demand was much more than we had anticipated and the business grew exponentially to become a network hub for qualified social workers all around the world, who complete assessments in their respective jurisdictions, after being trained and guided on the UK standard formats. With TISWA there is no longer a need for local authorities and other organisations to pay expensive airline fares to fly social workers out to various locations, as TISWA already have social workers, fully qualified, trained and culturally aware, in many locations worldwide.

Our Services
Our largest service offering is our international assessments, which we are uniquely placed to offer, with over 125 qualified social workers around the world. With our social workers cultural awareness, understanding of local ethnicities and local landscape, TISWA is best placed to carry out efficient, high quality social work assessments, tailored to your organisation's needs. Our service is designed to fit in with the policies and processes used by each individual customer, so we will complete reports in line with your preferred format, if it is outside of the standard. We complete comprehensive, high quality reports that are analytical, multi dimensional and evidence based and all of our reports go through a rigorous quality assurance process to ensure uniformity in the quality of our work.

As well as working with leading law firms, local authorities across the UK, and other local organisations, we also accept legal aid matters and provide a customized service to suit invoicing needs.

Our further services include weekly and monthly home visits/placement monitoring, school placements, contact supervision, all with reports, and, with the ever increasing recruitment crisis across social work, we now support UK organisations with the international recruitment of social workers, for children and adults posts.
